Claimed Lawyer Profile
Biography

I practice family law because it is the best fit for my skills and personality. My practice is centered on finding solutions that work for families. My practice is based on compassion and evidence. My goal is show the court/mediator/other attorney the evidence that leads to the conclusion that my client knows is the truth. Having compassion, given the evidence, is in seeing that the most extreme solution is not always the best solution. There are times for extreme solutions, but those times are rare. If your case requires an extreme solution, the court will usually require that a good amount of evidence be available to support that solution. That is why it is important to have a lawyer to help you get that evidence presented in an effective and thoughtful manner.

Lawyers cost entirely too much money. There's an expression among lawyers: She's a call/fax/email/letter lawyer. What that means for you is that a lawyer is billing you four times for what is essentially the same action. If you're paying to have a lawyer represent you, you should be able to talk to that lawyer, and you should have some confidence that your lawyer will be there when you really need them. Many lawyers use high hourly rates to spend retainers on calls/faxes/emails/letters. I keep my hourly rate relatively low so that I can put real work into your case and so that I can be there when it matters most.
