Alex Eichhorn
Centered on Your Recovery
I am Alex E. Eichhorn, the founder and managing attorney of Axis Legal, LLC, a law firm based in Milwaukee that is dedicated to representing injured workers across Wisconsin. With over a decade of experience, I have handled more than 2,000 cases and have successfully recovered $25 million for my clients. I am recognized as one of Wisconsin’s leading voices in workers’ compensation law.
I earned my J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2014, concentrating on civil litigation and workers’ compensation law. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and have maintained strong ties with the UWM community, recently being honored as the 2024 commencement keynote speaker for the College of Letters & Science.
During my time at law school, I was actively involved in several campus organizations, including the Legal Volunteer Clinic, Business Law Society, Intellectual Property Law Society, and Dispute Resolution Society. In 2014, I was chosen to represent Marquette in the ABA Negotiation Competition, showcasing my early skills in advocacy and strategic negotiation.
After graduating, I joined Tabak Law, LLC, where I developed one of Wisconsin’s largest workers’ compensation practices and became an equity partner by 2016. In 2025, I initiated a strategic split-off and established Axis Legal, LLC to focus on more client-centered advocacy in work injury cases.
My professional achievements have been recognized through numerous honors, including being named a Five-time Super Lawyers Rising Star, receiving the Top 10 Under 40 award from the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, being listed in Best Lawyers in America – Workers’ Compensation by the American Institute of Legal Counsel, and earning the Avvo Client’s Choice Award.
I continue to champion innovation and a client-centered approach in all my professional endeavors.
