lec J. Berin is a Partner in the Philadelphia office of Miller Shah LLP. He concentrates his practice on securities litigation, ERISA matters, and federal False Claims Act cases.
Alec earned his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and graduated with honors from the George Washington University Law School. During law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the George Washington International Law Review and was a Research Associate at the Center for Law, Economics & Finance. He was also named a Paul A. Volcker Scholar in recognition of his excellence in financial regulatory law and dedication to public service.
Alec gained experience in government enforcement through an internship in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Before attending law school, he worked at Miller Shah as a Project Analyst and ILR Credit Intern. His early professional background also includes roles on a presidential campaign and at a private consulting firm.
