I represent individuals and small businesses in New York's Hudson Valley before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, in cases under chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code.

My practice has been almost entirely restricted to bankruptcy for over 30 years. I have assisted hundreds of individuals struggling to get fair treatment from their mortgage holders, credit card banks and car lenders. Shawn graduated from SUNY University at Buffalo Law School with honors. After practicing at a specialized Syracuse law firm he joined the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office in Syracuse, New York. There, Shawn honed his trial advocacy skills in the Special Victims Bureau and the Violent Crimes Bureau.
