Biography

Richard J. Goldman has been duly licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida since 1988, by the Supreme Court of the United States of America since 1991, and by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida since 1996. Mr. Goldman has been a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America since 1988. After obtaining his Juris Doctorate at Nova University in 1988, Mr. Goldman worked exclusively in insurance defense where he was responsible for defending insurance carriers, self-insureds, school districts, hospital districts, and cities, in all insurance-related claims in Circuit Court. After practicing Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation law from 1992 through 2004 as a partner with the Law Firm of Grossman & Goldman, P.A., Mr. Goldman opened his own practice, devoting his time solely to representing persons injured in work-related accidents, Personal Injury cases, Medical Malpractice, Product Liability as well as Construction Litigation. Although he practices principally in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, Mr. Goldman has also tried numerous cases in several other Counties throughout Florida in Circuit Courts and Workers’ Compensation Courts. He has also tried several Federal District Court cases in the Southern District of Florida and has been involved in multi-district litigation cases as co-counsel. Mr. Goldman is Board eligible and has yet to seek certification from the Florida Bar as a specialist in Workers’ Compensation. He has previously lectured on several topics dealing with Workers’ Compensation.
