Fees
  • Free Consultation
    Free 30 min consultation on all non-immigration matters. If an extensive meeting is required, any consultation fee would be deducted from the retainer, when you retain. The consultation fee for Immigration matters is $200.00. If you retain my firm to represent you, the consultation fee will be deducted.
  • Contingent Fees
    Hybrid flat fee and contingent fees are available only for Surplus Funds cases, where the funds are held by the State Court. Also foreclosure of mechanic liens (where there is no dispute about the validity of the lien).
  • Rates, Retainers and Additional Information
    Hourly rates range from $400 to $600 per hour. State Court trial matters range from $400 to $550. per hour. Federal Court (except for Bankruptcy Court matters) are $600.00 per hour. Payments must be made by a retainer and an hourly rate after that. Payment must be in cash, check or Zelle transfer or wire transfer.

A: This could be done straightforward basis except for the part about it not being permanent. After about 1 year, the child's home state becomes FL. and your chances of achieving your objective diminish substantially. You should probably rethink this entire situation. There is no easy answer and as a father with two daughters (much older) who went through a very similar situation, I would think twice. I am not going to discuss my personal situation, suffice it to say I regret allowing it to happen. Good luck.
